Extra Curricular
Fairfield High School for Girls provides a wealth of high quality activities, clubs, societies and experiences. This includes an extensive range of enrichment activities to support the personal development of our pupils. We offer a variety of lunchtime and after-school clubs including debating, gardening, Computer Science, choir and drama. In addition, we have many educational visits throughout the school year including Cologne, the Houses of Parliament, Chester Zoo and Manchester University. These activities provide opportunities for students to learn new skills, make new friendships and develop their confidence, resilience and communication skills.
We deliver a comprehensive programme of Period 6 revision sessions to our Year 11 pupils, with some sessions delivered to Year 10 pupils. Our school library is open every morning at 7:30am for pupils as well as at break and lunch time. There is also a Breakfast Club in the School Restaurant 7:30-8:00 every day and a lunchtime Home Learning club in Student Support.
