Fairfield Forum
At Fairfield, our student council is called Fairfield Forum. Our aim is to have an inclusive group of pupils, who meet once every half term, to discuss and exchange ideas and issues in an open, safe forum. The forum consists of over seventy pupils, two from each form group, who have been elected by peers in their form as part of our focus on democracy and British Values.
The aim is to develop leadership roles for our pupils to support their journey in becoming responsible, active and kind citizens within our community. Fairfield Forum representatives can be identified wearing their purple badges.
Fairfield Forum pupils have an input into delivering assemblies, raising money for charities, interviewing candidates as part of our pupil panels, suggesting ideas and changes which will improve our school, and feedback on teaching and learning strategies in lessons.
