Our Results

Performance Data

We are very pleased to share some highlights of the outstanding achievements of our outgoing Year 11 cohort, the Class of 2025, following the release of their GCSE and Vocational and Technical Qualification (VTQ) results this summer. Once again, the Class of 2025 has upheld the high standards we expect of all Fairfield pupils, demonstrating remarkable academic success.

We are proud to report that an impressive 58% of our pupils achieved a Grade 5 (strong pass) or above in both English and Maths. This far exceeds the national average of 45%. Additionally, our pupils secured 85 Grade 9s or equivalent—an exceptional accomplishment. Notably, over a quarter of all grades awarded were Grade 7 or higher (or equivalent), reflecting our pupils’ unwavering commitment to academic excellence.

Here is how Fairfield’s Cohort 2025 GCSE and VTQ results compare nationally and regionally:

We strongly believe that our knowledge-rich and well sequenced curriculum, outstanding quality of teaching, strategic approach to intervention following the pandemic and our extended investment in personal development and pastoral support have supported Cohort 2025 in achieving life-changing outcomes. Pupils worked incredibly hard throughout their time at Fairfield and during Year 11 in particular, with guidance from their teachers and support staff. Their achievements are truly remarkable and evidence not just of their academic abilities but of their personal development, resilience and character. We also note and thank the support of parents/carers who have worked with us to ensure the very best for their children. Our relationships with families are key to supporting pupil development.
