Form time
The Fairfield Form Time Curriculum is a coherent and structured programme which supports the personal development of our pupils and their SMSC education. It has clear aims - for the pupils to be aspirational, develop oracy and literacy skills. The programme is delivered during tutor time every morning and links clearly to our three core school values of Successful Learners, Confident Individuals and Responsible Citizens. Our tutor time sessions also demonstrate exemplary behaviour and routines along with warm and nurturing relationships between pupils and tutors. In addition, our Confident Individual Programme including inter-from competitions focusses on teamwork, self-confidence and self-esteem.
Each pupil is provided with a Fairfield Form Time booklet each term. Each tutor is provided with a calendar of weekly topics which is linked to the assembly programme. Each form will learn, reflect and discuss based on the programme below:

There is a whole school themed ‘Gratitude Week’ held each term. This is an opportunity for our Fairfield pupils to reflect and show appreciation for someone that has helped them that term which in turn supports their mental wellbeing. Pupils have the opportunity to complete gratitude slips to thank a member of staff, a family member, a friend or someone in their community.
